Stina Nyström is one of our newest additions at Space Production, and she works as a designer and 3D illustrator. She is an engineer in design and product development at Chalmers and discovered our business when it was time to write her thesis. We managed to charm each other and after completing her degree she started working with us.
She has now worked here as Space for a year, and in order for you to get to know her better, we have asked her some questions.
Stina, what does a regular day look like for you?
My days can look very diferent. Some days work with 3D visualizations of exhibition stands. Then I draw the environments in the computer so that the customers can see what their stand will look like when it is finished. Other days I can sit with construction drawings for the building system we rent out daily for out stands.
Recently, I have spent a lot of time on projects for my own clients and worked on several major trade fairs together with my colleagues. There is so much to learn from them, as most have been in the business longer then I am old.
Which of the projects you've been involved in at Space has been the absolute coolest?
There are many cool projects to choose from! An event I remember well is my first. It was when Continental Däck exhibited at the eCar Expo in Stockholm and I got to contribute in all stages. I remember the indescribable feeling I got when I stood with the drawing in my hand, which I had drawn up myself a few months earlier, and looked out over the finished stand.
I have also been part of several large projects such as PulPac's stand in Düsseldorf and Workday Rising in Stockholm.
A lovely holiday is approaching, what are your summer plans?
I will be working for a few more weeks to plan the stands for winter season and also two big projects that in August and October. After that, of course, there is time for some rest - and this year there will be a trip to southern Europe and concerts at home.
