Interview with Richard Grahn (eng)

The autumn holidays are here, and what could be better than some reading in the autumn coziness. Here is an article with Richard Grahn who is a supervisor in the production.
Richard started in 1997 as a carpenter and assembler at Space Production, which at the time was called Rang Exhibition. Now Richard is a supervisor in production, which he describes as follows:

My main task is to first go through the jobs with the designers and brainstorm ideas. Then it's on to the CNC, our carpenters and the painter to decide how we're going to do the job and in what order, so that we meet our deadlines.

Since Richard has worked for so long at Space, he has extensive experience with different types of carpentry, and how we think and work. The tasks are varied and there is much else around the carpentry that has to be fixed during the day.

Of course we ask about Richard's best memory from the production:
There are many fun things and projects that have happened, but I choose something that is not directly work related but happened at work. It was when my brothers and friends took me on my bachelor party. They had been hiding in the carpentry shop, so when I came back from break they took me. It is a very good and fun memory.

Thanks for sharing, Richard! It is clear that your long experience and your commitment have contributed a lot to the positive work environment at Space Production.

Are you interested in Space Production and how we can help you?
